as a laboratorio musical for experimental jams, 6d (or 6 días en clona. and 6 daze) has been releasing work on digital and cassette forms since 2010.

6 días en clona - Little Green Aliens

as an umbrella label and solo project is currently also releasing electronic music.

PINK_BEAM is the result of one year of creative grief work prompted by the sudden and tragic death of bandmate and music partner Valis Ortiz. Under the moniker 6D, Ángel composed and published five short electronic compositions that honor the influence this 20-year creative partnership had in their life. All tracks were named to honor writer Philip K. Dick, whose work Vast Active Living Intelligent System was the inspiration for Ortiz's chosen name.

night mirror

Night Mirror - The Part

Prompted by pandemic boredom and inspired on long hazy dreams, Night Mirror was an offline band that jammed and recorded music for three years in a cozy Ridgewood, Queens brownstone in New York. Formed by electronics witch Crystal Peñalosa on the drum machine, conservatory punk Ula Kinder on the bass guitar, and self-taught musician Ángel Jacinto on keys and hormone-induced vocals, Night Mirror self-released their only and self-titled EP in 2023.

Flamenco Rosado - El arnés en su cuerpa

"Flamenco Rosado explores the intersection of queernes, identity, ethnicity, and decolonization through the framework of traditional flamenco as a performance and community engagement event. Utilizing the traditional structure of the cuadro, or ensemble, FR develops a queer tablao."

- Hans Enrique, FR director.

Ángel Jacinto participated and performed in Flamenco Rosado as a singer, lyricist, and composer from its first iterations (2020) and through the end of 2024. Inspired by the work of Flamenco Queer, Edu Libra, and Ana Brenes, he created an electronic composition re-writing parts of García-Lorca's famous Canción del mariquita into El arnés en su cuerpa, pushing for a positive and modern view on queer identity through a twenty-first century Brooklyn nightlife lens.

FR highlighted performances include Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation's RECESS: Brooklyn 2022, Judson Church Movement Research 2023, and Abrons Center for Performance Dance Alliance 2024.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Ángel has changed their approach to music making and music sharing by cultivating an experimental practice through the use of soft instruments, DAWs, field recordings, and the changing of their voice due to hormone therapy.

Upon debuting as a film director for the 2023 Third World Newsreel Filmmaking Fellowship, Ángel has begun to focus on sound and music for film. Their familiarity with microphones, mixing, and producing, as well as their love of film, has naturally evolved into the world of sound design.
